Description
Borage (Borago officinalis) is an herbaceous annual known for its vibrant blue, star-shaped flowers that attract pollinators. It grows up to 60-100 cm tall and has hairy, rough-textured leaves. Borage is both ornamental and edible, with a cucumber-like flavor. It self-seeds readily and thrives in poor, well-drained soil in full sun. In the garden, it serves as a companion plant, attracting bees and beneficial insects, while its leaves can be used in salads or as a garnish.
